A new school year begins together.
We are excited to bring our people together in Jamestown for E2CC BOCES’ Opening Day 2026! As part of our efforts to rotate Opening Day across the geographic area we serve, this year we are hosting the opening at a new location: the Northwest Arena in Jamestown. This year, we will also get to explore The Zone with our employees — a project E2CCB has been proud to partner on. The Zone is a space where students of all abilities can learn, explore and play together. And with the National Comedy Center nearby, I hope we can share some laughs as we reconnect! Our opening day is designed to help us focus on wellness, physical activity and (re)connection — and it will be just a few degrees cooler than last year.
Our goal is to have everyone leave opening day energized for the year ahead. I look forward to seeing you at our opening!

Staff are asked to bring their E2CCB badge. It will be used for sign-in and to receive both the Opening Day giveaway and boxed lunch.

All staff will receive a voucher via email after Opening Day for one free admission to the National Comedy Center at a later date.
Getting to Jamestown
Ride the bus
Parking in downtown Jamestown is limited. Staff are highly encouraged to ride an E2CCB bus.

Comfortable and activity-ready
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes are recommended. Closed-toe gym shoes are required for curling and ice bumper cars—no flip-flops or dress shoes for those activities.
