Welding/Metal Fabrication instructor Charles Harding and several students from the Ormsby Educational Center recently attended the Western New York Armed Forces Week Committee Military and Civilian Luncheon.
Held at the Connecticut Street Armory in Buffalo, the event provided students interested in military service with a valuable opportunity to connect with members of the armed forces and local community leaders.
E2CCB partnered with East Aurora Union Free School District and the Western New York Armed Forces Week Committee to bring Career & Technical Education students to this special event and help expose them to future career and service opportunities.

Congratulations to David Kirkpatrick of Springville-Griffith Institute!
David successfully completed the Computer Information Systems pathway at CAM P-TECH in Springville and will earn his Associate of Applied Science degree from Alfred State this June during the CAM P-TECH Advancement Ceremony.
Already putting his skills to work, David has spent the past two months working full-time at Working Knowledge Cabling & Communication Services as a Structured Cabling Technician. In his role, he installs cabling for Wi-Fi access points, builds cable infrastructure, and installs fiber optic systems โ gaining valuable hands-on experience in the technology field.
We are proud of Davidโs hard work, dedication, and accomplishments as he begins his career in technology, and we look forward to seeing all he achieves in the future!

Earlier today, seniors enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at the Carrier Educational Center hosted an Appreciation Brunch for the special people in their lives! ๐ฅ๐งโ๐ณ๐
Guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared and served by Career & Technical Education students, featuring breakfast staples, fresh pastries, and fruit, all served inside the Culinary Arts classroom.
It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase studentsโ skills and share a memorable experience with family and guests.

Students in the Health Careers program at the LoGuidice Educational Center will assist at the Dunkirk City School District Health and Wellness Fair from 5โ7 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, at Dunkirk Intermediate School.
Students will help run a Teddy Bear Clinic, where children can bring stuffed animals for a fun โcheckup." Additional health and wellness activities will include free lead testing and community resources.
