On Tuesday, the LoGuidice Educational Center hosted its third annual Turkey Trot, a festive 1.5-mile course that combined movement, teamwork, and holiday spirit! ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฆ๐โโ๏ธ
Organized by the Sports Conditioning & Exercise Science program with support from Construction Technology, Conservation/Natural Resource Management, Criminal Justice, and Health Careers students, the event highlighted true collaboration across Career & Technical Education.
Students and staff warmed up with light stretching before taking off on the trot, then enjoyed seasonal refreshments to wrap up the fun. It was a perfect way to head into the Thanksgiving holiday! ๐โค๏ธ

WNY P-TECH in Dunkirk celebrated the season of gratitude with a school-wide Thanksgiving meal for all students, featuring several dishes prepared by staff members. National Honor Society and SAVE Club members contributed to the event. ๐ฝ๏ธ๐๐
The menu included classic favorites such as mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, green bean casserole, cheddar scalloped potatoes, cornbread, and a variety of desserts.
Students also shared what theyโre thankful for on festive cutout leaves, spreading gratitude throughout the school.

As part of their fall service project, National Honor Society members at WNY P-TECH in Dunkirk are collecting items for Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue. ๐ถ๐พโค๏ธ
Requested donations include canned dog food, treats, toys, paper towels, disinfectant spray, 13- and 30-gallon trash bags, dish and laundry detergent, stamps, computer paper, towels, and fleece blankets.
Donations can be dropped off through Dec. 9 at WNY P-TECH, 55 E. Benton St., Dunkirk, during school hours, or directly at Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield.

Baker Road recently celebrated one of its most beloved traditions, lovingly known as โTurkey in a Can.โ For 30 years, this fun and heartwarming event has brought the school community together to share gratitude, laughter, and a delicious holiday meal.
Students and staff enjoyed spending time together, reflecting on what they were thankful for, and continuing this long-standing tradition. It was moments like these that made Baker Road feel like family.
