Capital Improvement Project 2026

The Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES 2026 Capital Improvement Project is a focused, fiscally responsible plan to address the most urgent facility needs across its campuses and support safe, reliable learning environments for students in all 27 component districts. Based on the New York State Education Department’s Building Condition Survey, E2CCB narrowed $142 million in identified needs to a $49.5 million priority scope focused on critical roofing, mechanical systems, safety upgrades, and district-wide communications and technology infrastructure. Structured through an Inter-Municipal Agreement and fully within the Maximum Cost Allowance, the project is 100% aidable by the state and gives districts flexible options for managing their local share. By addressing these essential improvements now, E2CCB is taking a proactive approach to protecting instructional spaces and reducing the risk of costly system failures in the future.

Sandy Hook Promise

Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES is proud to partner with Sandy Hook Promise to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community. Through this partnership, we implement the Anonymous Reporting System, a powerful tool for staff, families, and students to confidentially report concerns about bullying, threats of violence, or other safety issues. This system empowers individuals to play an active role in keeping our schools safe by providing a secure and accessible way to share concerns, fostering a supportive and proactive environment for everyone.
