CTE Students Recognized for Positive Character Traits

At the LoGuidice Educational Center, students are celebrated not just for their skills in Career & Technical Education, but for the positive character they bring to the school community.

Molly Corsi-Katta, school social worker at LoGuidice, helps oversee the Character in Action program, which highlights a different trait each month and encourages students to put it into practice throughout their day.

Teachers nominate students who consistently demonstrate the featured quality, and one junior and one senior from each program are recognized monthly. Corsi-Katta emphasizes that the program celebrates students who positively influence the school community while encouraging others to follow their example.
