Board of Education

We will ensure educational leadership and service through effective and innovative school and community partnerships which will provide a school system that yields a world-class education for all our students.

1. E2CCB’s commitment to high-quality learning environments for our students will be reflected in facilities improvements to ensure:
   • Safety for students and staff
   • Accessibility for all individuals
   • Sufficient space for program needs
2. E2CCB will increase achievement for all students, and post-secondary readiness, by advancing belonging and equity across all campuses and component districts. Through aligned systems and partnerships, we will ensure:
   • Welcoming and affirming learning environments that strengthen student engagement, attendance, and persistence
   • Culturally responsive curriculum, assessment, and instruction that maintain high expectations and support learning for all learners, including diverse learners
   • Integrated mental health and safety supports that remove barriers to academic performance, including, but not limited to, financial barriers to create belonging across all campuses
   • Ongoing professional learning focused on inclusive instruction, restorative practices, and relationship-centered teaching
   • Data reviews to identify disproportional outcomes for different groups, along with policy reviews to address barriers impacting student and staff success
3. In partnership with our component districts, E2CCB will innovate and/or expand with new specialized programs and enhanced alignment to future workforce and industry needs, which will include new and emerging technologies and access to higher education for students.
4. E2CCB will support preparing graduates who are ready to learn, grow, create, work, and contribute within our own instructional programs, as well as within component districts. We will do this by supporting teaching and learning practices aligned to the NYS Education Department’s NY Inspires Policy Agenda.

As a practice philosophy, we strive for a culture of continual improvement, aligned to our organization’s purpose, using goals, data, evidence, and high-quality standards across our campuses, programs, and sites. Our programs, collaboration, and external and internal partnerships will demonstrate E2CCB’s Habits and regional impact on human and economic development.
