💇‍♂️💇‍♀️ A Fresh Look for Our Students!

On December 16th, students from the E2CCB at Chautauqua Lake program had the amazing opportunity to receive free haircuts, thanks to the talented stylists from Main street salon and co!

This generous initiative not only gave our students a chance to look and feel their best but also demonstrated the power of community partnerships. We’re incredibly grateful to Main St Salon for sharing their time, skills, and kindness with our students.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day special! Your support means the world to us and shows just how much we can accomplish when we work together. ❤️

📣Students Teaching Students 📣

In December, students enrolled in the Automotive Technology program at the Hewes Educational Center demonstrated basic vehicle maintenance skills to the Criminal Justice class. 🧑‍🔧🤝👮

Students learned about fluid checks, tire wear, using jumper cables to start a vehicle, spare tire removal and installation, and tire pressure checks and filling.

The collaboration between CTE programs at Hewes was coordinated by Automotive Technology instructors Joseph Pitts and Stephen Reed and Criminal Justice instructor Kerry Crist.

Great job, everyone! 👏👏🤝
