E2CCB students, families, faculty and staff recently gathered for the first-ever graduation ceremony held specifically for the program at North Collins.
The ceremony honored the Class of 2026 with personal reflections from staff, diploma presentations, the turning of the tassel and plenty of applause.
The celebration also included recognition for retiring staff members Debra Arendt, Debbie Blowers and Dawn Meyers, who were thanked for their 78 years of combined of service and commitment to students.

The event honored 21 students from Chautauqua Lake, Clymer, Jamestown, and Westfield for reaching an important milestone as they prepare for future careers and continued learning opportunities.

🏅🌟 E2CCB Special Olympics: Celebrating Ability, Determination, and Inclusion! 🌟🏅
Our E2CCB students recently had the opportunity to shine at Special Olympics events held at SUNY Fredonia and Strider Field in Jamestown, joining hundreds of athletes from across the region in a day filled with competition, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. These annual events bring together student-athletes, staff, volunteers, and community members to celebrate achievement, sportsmanship, and the power of inclusion.
From running races and field events to cheering on teammates and earning medals, our students demonstrated courage, determination, and incredible school spirit every step of the way. Most importantly, they showed that success comes in many forms and that every athlete deserves the chance to compete, belong, and be celebrated.
A special thank you to our staff, volunteers, families, and community partners who helped make these experiences possible. We are so proud of our athletes for representing E2CCB with enthusiasm, perseverance, and pride! 💙💛

The Ormsby Educational Center held its Senior Recognition Ceremony Thursday morning at East Aurora High School, honoring Career & Technical Education students for their hard work and successful completion of their programs! 🎓🏅🌟
Several scholarships and awards were also presented during the event to recognize outstanding achievement.

The LoGuidice Educational Center recently celebrated prom with a Fairy Garden theme, giving students a fun, welcoming and memorable event together.
One of the highlights came before the music and dancing even started, thanks to an awesome collaboration with our Cosmetology students! Junior cosmetology students helped their peers get prom-ready with hair, makeup and manicures, making sure everyone felt confident, celebrated and ready to shine.
The prom was held outside at the pavilion and featured great weather, food, music, dancing and plenty of smiles.
A big thank you to the LoGuidice staff, Cosmetology students and staff, and everyone who helped plan, prepare and make this special event possible for our students!

We’re proud to announce that two of our CTE programs received the NYSSBA "Champions of Change" award at our June 10 Board meeting. David Lowrey, Area 1 Director and E2CCB Board of Education member, presented banners to:
🍪 The NYS Cookie Project led by Chef Dave Caccamise: A 30-year tradition where Culinary Arts students bake state-shaped cookies to help 4th graders learn geography.
🐾 Small Animal Science Volunteer Day led by Holly Lemke: Seniors assisted with a feline clinic at Whiskers Veterinary Hospital. Pictured is Acting Director of CTE, P-TECH & Program Innocvation Maureen Donahue, who accepted the award on behalf of Holly.
