E2CCB Steps Up to the Challenge at 2025 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge

On Thursday, June 12, a spirited team of employees from Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES (E2CCB) laced up their sneakers and hit the pavement at Delaware Park in Buffalo as proud participants in the 2025 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge — the world’s largest corporate running event. With an enthusiastic group of 29 finishers representing departments across the organization, E2CCB embraced the challenge’s mission to blend workplace wellness with community, camaraderie, and competition.

The event, part of a 16-city global series that spans six continents and eight countries, offered E2CCB employees a chance to connect beyond the workplace. Whether walking, jogging, or sprinting through the 3.5-mile course, participants shared in an experience that was one part run and one part party—complete with post-race festivities that capped off an energizing evening.

E2CCB placed 111th locally and 3,485th globally, with an average finish time of 46:25. The top performers came from across the organization, with standout times from departments including Human Resources, Education, and Administration.
