LoGuidice Educational Center Celebrates Heartfelt Graduation Ceremony for Class of 2025

The LoGuidice Educational Center was filled with joy, pride, and emotion as three remarkable students were honored during the Class of 2025 Recognition Ceremony. Held in the Large Group Room, the intimate graduation brought together families, staff, and friends to celebrate not just academic milestones, but the growth, resilience, and deep connections formed throughout each student’s journey.

The event began with a touching tribute to four dedicated staff members for their years of service: Deborah Conner, Teacher of ESL (3 years); Candice Penrod, Teacher Aide (7 years); Mary Carlson, Special Education Teacher (30 years); and Janice Bull, Teacher Aide, whose incredible 40 years of service drew heartfelt applause and hand-delivered flower bouquet.

Each of the three graduates — Jamin, Patricia, and Aidan — received a Skills and Achievement Credential, recognizing the hard work and accomplishments that brought them to this day. A moving highlight of the ceremony was when each graduate presented flowers to their mothers. A nostalgic slideshow followed, showcasing photos from the students’ time at LoGuidice and capturing just how far they had come.

“You’re the life of the party, ‘Tricia, and I’ll miss you so much. The halls of LoGuidice won’t be the same without you,” said Aaron Delcamp, Consultant Teacher. “You make Mama very proud with how much you’ve accomplished and how much love you’ve shared with the people at the LoGuidice Center.”

Guest speaker Maureen Bialaszewski, affectionately known as “Miss B.,” returned to the school where she once worked to share words of wisdom and encouragement.

“New beginnings can feel scary,” she told the graduates, “but they also bring exciting possibilities — especially when you have the right people in your corner.”

Delcamp continued and offered personalized reflections on each student he’d worked with, blending humor with heartfelt memories.

“The term ‘come a long way’ is used a lot for our students, but for Aidan, it couldn’t be more of an understatement. If you were familiar with Aidan 9 to 10 years ago, you know that he is a totally different person,” he said. “Now, here we are, Aidan is one of the most self-driven work study candidates we’ve ever had.”

Principal Jennifer Siebert and Supervisor/Principal Leah Leuthauser helped guide the ceremony, which concluded with a reception and photographs.
