Integrated Education Services

Empowering Educators to Reach New Heights

Integrated Educational Services (IES) provides practical, high-value professional learning for educators and school leaders. Sessions focus on instruction, curriculum, assessment, leadership, and effective use of technology.

Offerings include workshops, seminars, and job-embedded support delivered in person or online. Content is built from current research and district needs.

Our team includes experienced practitioners and content specialists who deliver usable strategies you can apply immediately.

The E2CCB Data Management Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, provides districts with expert support and training for the WNYRIC Data Warehouse, EngageNY Portal Dashboards, third-party assessment vendor systems, and various other district data sources. Acting as a liaison, E2CCB staff offer hands-on assistance, ensuring smooth data management and accurate reporting. Additionally, we help districts analyze state, standardized, and local assessments while developing customized reports. This analysis supports trend analysis, curriculum mapping, item analysis, and curriculum audits, allowing districts to make data-driven decisions to enhance curriculum and student performance.

The E2CCB Extracurricular Activity Coordination Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, offers comprehensive support to districts in organizing regional extracurricular activities that fall outside the regular school curriculum. These activities, which involve academic and occupational competitions without academic credit, are designed to foster student engagement and skill development. E2CCB staff provide assistance to team advisors and coaches, facilitating both on-site and remote activities. This includes coordinating  STEAM opportunities like Lego League, Destination Imagination, Quiz Bowl, Odyssey of the Mind, Vex Robotics, and other student interest-driven activities. Our goal is to create enriching experiences that enhance students’ creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

E-Sports

The E2CCB eSports program has experienced steady growth, with nearly 20 districts now participating in the Co-Ser. Students can compete in popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart, both at local in-person tournaments and in national competitions. Locally, E2CCB hosts tournaments where students engage in friendly competition and sportsmanship with their peers from nearby districts. For those seeking a larger stage, districts can participate in national leagues like the Electronic Gaming Federation (EGF), where students can earn recognition on a regional or national level. With a focus on expanding opportunities for students, the E2CCB eSports program continues to grow—reach out and join the competition!

The E2CCB Data Model Schools Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, supports districts in integrating technology to enhance student learning. E2CCB staff provide access to and training in both hardware and software, offering individualized and small-group learning opportunities for teachers, teaching assistants, and school administrators. By collaborating on district technology plans, classroom observations, and reviewing student achievement data, E2CCB helps craft tailored learning experiences that effectively integrate technology. Services include three on-site days for hands-on support with technology integration initiatives and participation in regional Model Schools workshops. This could include:

  • Piloting new technology
  • The use of Artificial Intelligence in the classroom
  • Coaching teachers in utilizing technology to engage learners

The E2CCB Regional Curriculum Council, part of Integrated Education Services, provides a collaborative platform for school districts to engage in meaningful dialogue and share best practices related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The council brings together educators, administrators, and curriculum leaders to discuss emerging trends, state and federal mandates, and innovative strategies to improve student outcomes. Through regularly scheduled meetings, members have the opportunity to collaborate on curriculum development, align instructional practices, and review assessment data to support continuous improvement. The council also fosters regional partnerships, ensuring that districts work together to address common challenges and implement effective, research-based educational practices.

The E2CCB Regional Test Scoring Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, provides districts with a streamlined solution for scoring Grades 3-8 English Language Arts and Math Assessments. This service includes coordination of regional scoring, covering the cost of operational test training, facilities for scoring days, and processing of test booklets.

Please note that this service does not include scoring of the multiple-choice sections, which is handled by WNYRIC, or pre-training for scoring, which is covered under Co-Ser 565.

The cost for the service includes a basic fee plus $7 per student test, offering an efficient, collaborative approach to test scoring that reduces the administrative burden on districts.

The School Improvement strand is designed to support teachers and school leaders in building capacity and ensuring all students’ academic achievement. IES staff will work collaboratively with districts to customize strategic staff development plans that address their targeted needs.

The professional development opportunities will be designed based on data and research.

The basic service will include five days of site-based and/or remote staff development with a focus on specific district requests and will be tailored to meet the individual objectives of the district. Districts may choose to allocate these days to address areas of need which include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, leadership support, comprehensive curriculum and assessment development, instructional strategies, instructional coaching, and mentor training.

All can be delivered in-house and/or remotely through small, regional collaboration efforts. For long-term work, please see the Shared Specialized Curriculum Services.

Regional workshops that address updates and changes in statewide initiatives are incorporated in the base cost, when provided by NYSED, for the purpose of turnkey training with component districts. These sessions may be held in-person, online, or in a blended environment with asynchronous videos or interactive library. In addition to NYSED information sharing, IES staff or consultants will provide professional development on a variety of topics such as using multiple measures to inform instruction and assessment decisions, instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, learning styles, reading and writing in the content areas, assessment to inform literacy instruction, and other areas based upon district needs assessment surveys.

The E2CCB Substitute and Stipend Reimbursement Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, supports districts in covering costs for staff participation in professional development and curriculum activities.

Substitute Reimbursement (Co-Ser 565.260) allows districts to be reimbursed for substitute teacher costs when their regular staff attends E2CCB-sponsored curriculum development and training sessions. Upon submission of the required forms and adherence to SED policies, districts are eligible for reimbursement at the actual per diem cost of substitutes, up to $200 per day, with a 3% coordination fee.

Stipend Reimbursement (Co-Ser 565.270) enables districts to recover costs for stipends paid to teachers attending E2CCB-sponsored training and curriculum development activities. Districts are reimbursed up to $110 per day, plus a 3% coordination fee, once forms are completed and SED policies are followed.

Reimbursement requires that at least two districts participate in the professional development activity, which is verified through attendance sheets. Additionally, districts must be part of the School Improvement Co-Ser (Co-Ser 565) to qualify for these reimbursements.
