The E2CCB Northern Region Recognition Ceremony brought together students, families, staff, and community members to celebrate student accomplishments and recognize the dedication of two longtime staff members entering retirement.

The ceremony highlighted the hard work, perseverance, and growth demonstrated by students throughout their educational journeys. As students were recognized for reaching important milestones, the event served as a celebration of their achievements and the support they received from families, educators, and staff along the way.

In addition to honoring students, the ceremony recognized two retirees whose years of service have left a lasting impact on the Northern Region community.

Janet Kelly, Occupational Therapist, was honored for 39 years of dedicated service. Throughout her career, Kelly has worked closely with students, families, and staff to support student growth, independence, and success. Her expertise, compassion, and commitment have positively impacted generations of students.

Deborah Wingate, Teacher of Special Education, was recognized for 26 years of service. Wingate’s dedication to her students and passion for education have helped create meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for student achievement. Her commitment to supporting students has made a lasting difference in the lives of many families and colleagues.

The Recognition Ceremony reflected the values that define the Northern Region community: perseverance, achievement, service, and support. As students look ahead to their next chapter and retirees begin a well-earned new journey, the event provided an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions that make the Northern Region such a special place.

Congratulations to all of the students recognized during the ceremony, and best wishes to Janet Kelly and Deborah Wingate as they begin their retirements.
