The Hewes Educational Center recently welcomed students, families, staff, and community members for its annual Recognition Ceremony, a special event celebrating student achievement while honoring the dedication of longtime staff members.
During the ceremony, graduates were recognized for their hard work, perseverance, and personal growth. As they crossed the stage to receive their certificates, each student was celebrated for the determination, resilience, and commitment that helped them reach this important milestone. Family members, friends, and staff joined in recognizing the accomplishments of the students and the bright futures that lie ahead.
In addition to celebrating students, the ceremony also honored two retiring staff members whose combined 52 years of service have made a lasting impact on the Hewes Educational Center community.
Kimberlee Card, Teacher Aide, was recognized for her 25 years of dedicated service to students and staff. Throughout her career, Card has provided unwavering support and encouragement, helping countless students achieve success.
Rebecca Jordan, School Nurse Assistant, was honored for her 27 years of service. Jordan’s compassionate care and commitment to student well-being have touched the lives of students, families, and colleagues throughout her tenure.
The Recognition Ceremony served as a meaningful celebration of achievement, dedication, and the lasting connections that make the Hewes Educational Center community so special. Congratulations to the graduates, and best wishes to Kimberlee Card and Rebecca Jordan as they begin their well-deserved retirements.
