Join E2CCB, NYSCOSS, Buffalo Public Schools and the Leadership for Educational Achievement Foundation for the 2026 Women’s Initiative in Buffalo!
This two-day event is designed to empower and celebrate women in educational leadership through meaningful networking, honest conversations and sessions focused on confidence, strengths and leadership development. Last year’s event brought together more than 100 educators from across New York state for immersive sessions, storytelling and action-driven conversations centered on supporting and elevating women in leadership.

Congratulations to LoGuidice Educational Center Automotive Body Repair instructor Amy Bogner on an incredible achievement! 📚🚗✍️
Bogner has become a published author after writing the companion workbook for the fourth edition of Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing. Her work will help Career & Technical Education and trade school students across the country strengthen their collision repair knowledge and skills.

Instructors and staff from the Ormsby Educational Center recently had the opportunity to tour the Moog Operations Training Center in Elma, gaining a firsthand look at the company`s state-of-the-art workforce training programs and advanced manufacturing operations.
The visit included an overview of Moog, a tour of the Operations Training Center, and a driving tour of the WNY Campus, providing valuable insight into the skills and technology shaping today`s manufacturing industry.

Each spring, the South Dayton community comes together for a pancake breakfast that supports the Wyatt Butcher Memorial Scholarship, honoring the memory of Pine Valley and WNY P-TECH student Wyatt Butcher.
Established in 2022, the scholarship recognizes students pursuing skilled trades pathways. Since its creation, eight students have received the award, including this year’s recipients, Ethan Camus and Myah Benjamin.
For Wyatt’s family, the event is about more than fundraising — it’s a way to keep his name and passion for hands-on learning alive while supporting students who share his goals and determination.
