Members of the National Technical Honor Society chapter at the Carrier Educational Center recently donated toys to Oishei Children`s Hospital in Buffalo! 🎁🏥🧒
The special delivery resulted from a toy drive organized by NTHS members and held in November and December at Carrier.
Earlier this month, the Career & Technical Education students met with hospital officials and delivered the toys, which will be given to children receiving care at Oishei.
"We are extremely proud of how caring and willing our young leaders are and how excited everyone was to be part of this experience," said Nicole Kaleta, a consultant teacher at Carrier and NTHS advisor.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff`s Office recently provided Taser Certification Training to Chautauqua County Explorers at the Hewes Educational Center. 🚨👮♂️👮♀️🚨
Students were taught basic information on the benefits of non-lethal options. Taser training also allows Explorers to learn alongside local law enforcement and receive additional preparation for the academy.
On December 16th, students from the E2CCB at Chautauqua Lake program had the amazing opportunity to receive free haircuts, thanks to the talented stylists from Main street salon and co!
This generous initiative not only gave our students a chance to look and feel their best but also demonstrated the power of community partnerships. We’re incredibly grateful to Main St Salon for sharing their time, skills, and kindness with our students.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day special! Your support means the world to us and shows just how much we can accomplish when we work together. ❤️
