Children of E2CCB staff recently enjoyed an up-close look at Career & Technical Education and P-TECH programs as part of Take Your Child to Work Day! 👩🍳🐾💇♀️
At the Carrier Educational Center, students explored Culinary Arts by baking and decorating cookies, experienced Small Animal Science through pet handling and grooming activities, and toured the Cosmetology classroom, among other activities.
At WNY P-TECH, visitors learned about each of the school’s pathways, heard directly from current students, and took part in outdoor activities designed to highlight hands-on learning and career exploration.

April is Autism Acceptance Month 💙
This year, we’re going beyond awareness and focusing on real stories, real voices, and real understanding. As part of our awareness campaign, we had the privilege of interviewing some of our staff to share their experiences, challenges, and the beautiful moments that come with teaching someone on the autism spectrum.
We’re excited to introduce our 4-part video series, where these families and staff members open up to help our community better understand autism in a meaningful and personal way.
Our hope is that through these stories, you’ll gain new perspectives, deepen your empathy, and learn something you may not have known before.
Stay tuned, follow along, and join us in celebrating acceptance, inclusion, and the power of listening 💙
