After 50 years with E2CCB, Bill Chambers, a Consultant Teacher at the LoGuidice Educational Center, has retired, closing a career that began in 1976 and was built on relationships, opportunity, and helping students succeed.
Over five decades, Chambers supported generations of students and worked alongside colleagues across special education and Career & Technical Education programs.
He reflected that while education has changed significantly since he began, the mission remained the same: “It’s always been about the students.”

Shortly before the school year ended, students in instructor Thomas Congdon`s Automotive Body Repair program at the Hewes Educational Center completed a full restoration and custom modification of a 1965 Ford Mustang! 🐎🛠️🚗
Beginning with a complete disassembly, Career & Technical Education students stripped the vehicle to bare metal, repaired and reshaped body panels, and fabricated custom metalwork to install a rear wide-body kit that accommodates larger wheels and tires.
The class completed every stage of the refinishing process, including welding, body filler application, block sanding, priming, sealing, painting, color sanding, and polishing to achieve a deep, high-gloss finish.
Congratulations to Mr. Congdon and his Automotive Body Repair students on an incredible restoration and a job well done!
