Self-care, confidence, and community came together this week at the Hewes Educational Center during a fully booked “Love Yourself” event. 💕✨
Students in the Cosmetology and Health Careers programs once again partnered with The Waterfront Foundation to promote wellness and help community members feel their best.
Juniors and seniors provided a variety of services, with Cosmetology students offering hair and nail services and Health Careers students checking vital signs for interested participants.

As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re sharing a powerful reminder that one teacher can change everything. In a deeply personal reflection, E2CCB Board of Education member Sylvester Cleary honors his sixth-grade teacher, Mr. Rice, who saw a struggling student and offered more than support — he offered a path forward, starting with a trumpet and a simple message to keep going.

Envirothon challenges teams to showcase their knowledge of wildlife, forestry, aquatics, soils, and current environmental issues.

Culinary Arts students at the Carrier Educational Center recently showed off their creativity in a popular cake decorating contest, led by instructor Sandy Kaleta and consultant teacher Nicole Kaleta! 🎂👩🍳👨🍳
Over several classes, the Career & Technical Education seniors planned, baked, and decorated their themed creations from scratch.
Students and staff from other programs voted for their favorites, and juniors will soon take part in the same competition.
